"I collaborated with other people and we formed a group. We organized ourselves and managed to open a community store where we sell our products."
Q
How did you come to live in this place?
A
I was born in the Ingavi province, where my dad taught us skills like tilling and weaving. When I was ten years old I moved to the city with my dad, who was a waiter. I would cook for him. Years later I got married, and I am now an artisan. I used the skills my dad had taught me to make artisanal products. I collaborated with other people and we formed a group. We organized ourselves and managed to open a community store where we sell our products.
Q
What’s one thing you would like the world to know about you?
A
I would want the world to know about my knowledge and skills. My travel experiences to other places in the world like the USA, where I shared my knowledge and skills, and that I am vice president of a group of artisans.
Q
What’s something you do every week that makes you happy?
A
I enjoy weaving to make tablecloths.
